Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones was the youngest daughter of media mogul, producer, musician Quincy Jones and actress Peggy Lipton. Kidada Jones is her older sibling. Five half-siblings are born through her father's other relationships. Her father is African American, and her mother is Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant from migrants to Russia as well as Latvia). Rashida was educated in Reform Judaism. She was born in Bel Air, Los Angeles. Jones has made statements about her dual race parents, "It was the 1970s and it's not even that acceptable for them to be together."
