Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on the 14th of August 1983. Kunis immigrated with her parents Elvira Kunis and Mark Kunis to the United States at seven years old. They eventually settled in Los Angeles. It was not an easy start for the Kunis families, who arrived in their new country with only $250. Kunis parents, who had to quit their jobs to start an entirely new life, were determined for their children to enjoy an improved quality of life. Mark, an engineer who retired, was able to get employment as a taxi driver. Elvira who had studied physics in Ukraine was pharmacist. "I didn't know the American culture," Kunis has said when she first arrived to the United States. "I didn’t understand the people. I didn't understand the language. The first line of my essay for college admission was "Imagine being deaf and blind at age 7". And that's what it was like moving to America. But I was able to get over it quickly." Milena Markovna Kunis was the child of Mark Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine), and Elvira. Her older brother is also hers. Her mother works as a pharmacist and a physics teacher. Her father is mechanical engineering professional. He also works as a taxi driver. When she was 7 years old, older, her family relocated to Los Angeles. Rosewood Elementary school was her first choice. When she was nine years old she began lessons in acting. She auditioned for a few commercials and then began her career on television in her first role on 'Days of Our Lives', in 1994.She starred in minor roles as a child actor on 'Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves and 'Santa with a Muscle' and the Angelina Jolie's filmcalled "Gia". In 1998, she was given her first big role as Jackie Burkhart, in the popular sitcom "That 70s show". After receiving rave reviews, she voiced the role of Meg Griffin, an animated sitcom.
